About

Team Culture: Keep the original intention with the

craftsman's heart, and pass on the cultural heritage with the cultural creation

1. Core Values: The Artisan Spirit. Every bead knot in the necklace, every carved detail on the brooch, and every kiln transformation of the Jian Zhan teapot embodies an unwavering pursuit of craftsmanship. We honor the natural texture of raw materials, preserve traditional manual techniques, and breathe new life into intangible cultural heritage in modern living.

Cultural coexistence: While honoring traditions, we transcend them . Our team masterfully blends materials in bracelets (wood, stone, jade), innovates brooch designs (traditional motifs with modern aesthetics), and refines Jianzhan's form (for everyday use), adapting time-honored craftsmanship to contemporary needs.

Authentic Craftsmanship: Rejecting mass production, we uphold the 'small but exquisite' artisanal approach. Each piece bears the craftsman's signature, with transparent disclosure of raw materials and production methods, forging a bond of' handcrafted artistry + trust' with our customers.

2. Team Philosophy "Three Commitments": Commit to Authenticity of Raw Materials (using premium natural wood, stone, and mineral glazes), Commit to

Handcrafted Artistry (all core processes are completed by hand), and Commit to Cultural Heritage (each product carries a traditional story or symbolic pattern behind it).

"Two-Way Collaboration": The team serves as both custodians of traditional craftsmanship and attentive listeners to user needs. Through offline hands-on workshops and online feedback interactions, they engage users in co-creating products, enabling cultural and creative goods to seamlessly integrate into daily life.

3. The team fosters a diverse and inclusive environment, with members including intangible cultural heritage inheritors, young designers, and folk culture researchers. Here, traditional craftsmanship meets innovative creativity, while classical patterns harmonize with contemporary aesthetics. A meticulous approach: eschewing the rush for instant viral hits, it allows artisans to refine details with time and encourages teams to visit intangible cultural heritage sites (such as the Jianzhan Kiln in Jianyang, Fujian, and the woodcarving workshop in Dongyang, Zhejiang) to draw inspiration from their roots.

Evolution: From Handcrafted Artistry to Cultural Symbol 2018: The Birth of a Vision. Driven by passion for traditional craftsmanship, the founder journeyed through Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu—regions rich in intangible cultural heritage—to meet 12 master artisans (Jian Zhan potters, bead string artists, and metal carvers). Witnessing the plight of traditional crafts 'hidden in forgotten alleys,' they conceived the vision to 'bring intangible heritage into everyday life.'

The inaugural collection features Jianzhan teapots and bracelets: the teapots utilize Jianyang raw mineral glaze, hand-pulled by intangible cultural heritage inheritors and fired in wood-fired kilns; the bracelets are crafted from small-leaf rosewood and star-month bodhi wood, employing traditional "flat knot" and "diamond knot" weaving techniques, emphasizing "simple yet timeless, suitable for daily wear ". 2019-2020: Building a solid offline presence and reputation, we opened physical craft experience stores in Hangzhou and Suzhou, featuring hands-on activities like 'Handmade Beaded Bracelets' and 'Jianzhan Pottery Wheel-Throwing Experience.' These initiatives allowed customers to experience the warmth of traditional craftsmanship up close, serving over 5,000 offline clients in total. The new brooch collection, featuring traditional motifs like plum, orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum, and entwined lotus, combines Suzhou embroidery and silver engraving techniques. These light luxury brooches, designed to complement both Hanfu and everyday wear, have become a 'new cultural accessory choice' for young users. Collaborating with local museums, we launched co-branded Jianzhan (a replica of Song Dynasty rabbit-hair- bristle cups) and bracelets featuring museum collection motifs, transforming cultural products into vehicles for cultural dissemination. 2021-2022: Going beyond traditional boundaries, the brand upgraded its presence on e-commerce platforms by establishing an online matrix of 'products + content.' Through short videos, it showcased the craftsmanship of Jianzhan teapot making and hand-woven bead art, while infographics decoded the cultural symbolism behind each piece (e.g., 'peach wood beads symbolizing peace' and 'coiled lotus brooches representing enduring good  fortune'). This strategy garnered over 100,000 loyal followers.

A youth design team was formed to launch the 'Modernized Traditional Patterns' series: incorporating elements from Dunhuang murals into bracelet color schemes, simplifying the auspicious beast motifs from the Palace Museum 's collection into brooch designs, making intangible cultural heritage products more appealing to young consumers. The 'Craftsman Support Program ' was launched, signing contracts with 8 emerging artisans to provide design guidance and sales channels, thereby promoting the inheritance and innovation of traditional crafts.

Since 2023, the organization has been dedicated to cultural development and ecosystem enhancement by launching the online 'Intangible Cultural Heritage Handicrafts Class'. Taught by team artisans, the course covers traditional skills like hand chain weaving and Jian Zhan (a type of ancient Chinese tea cup) appreciation, with over 30,000 participants to date, helping more people appreciate traditional craftsmanship. Expand product offerings: To meet the demand for business gifts and holiday gift boxes, we provide customized services (engraved bracelets, custom corporate logo brooches, Jianzhan (a traditional Chinese tea set) gift box sets), making them a popular choice for cultural gifts.

Staying true to our founding vision: We steadfastly uphold a production model of "small-batch, high-quality" craftsmanship. Every product undergoes triple rigorous checks—raw material selection, handcrafted production, and quality verification—making Qingyu Zao Wu synonymous with a cultural and creative brand that embodies warmth, culture, and artisanal excellence.
